General Troubleshooting Tips

  • Try the solution one at a time, testing after each step
  • Restart your TV completely (power off, wait 30 seconds, power on)
  • Ensure your TV software is up to date
  • Check internet connection stability
  • Give the TV time to process (some operations take 1-2 minutes)
  • Document any error messages for reference

TV Won't Power On

  1. Check that power cable is firmly connected to wall outlet
  2. Try a different power outlet to rule out outlet issues
  3. Press the power button on the TV (not just the remote)
  4. Wait 30 seconds after plugging in before attempting power on
  5. Check if there's a power indicator light on the TV

No WiFi Connection Available

  1. Verify your WiFi router is powered on and functioning
  2. Move the TV closer to your WiFi router
  3. Restart your WiFi router (power off, wait 30 seconds, power on)
  4. Try connecting to 2.4GHz network if available
  5. Check if WiFi network name has special characters that might cause issues
  6. Consider a wired Ethernet connection if available

Wrong WiFi Password Error

  1. Verify your WiFi password is correct (passwords are case-sensitive)
  2. Check that you don't have CAPS LOCK enabled
  3. Try typing the password more slowly to avoid typos
  4. Reset your WiFi password from your router settings
  5. Temporarily disable WiFi security to test, then re-enable

Can't Sign In to Account

  1. Verify username and password are correct
  2. Check that your email address is correct
  3. Reset your password through the account recovery option
  4. Ensure your TV has internet connection
  5. Clear TV browser cache (go to Settings > Storage > Clear Cache)
  6. Try signing out and signing back in

Activation Code Issues

  1. Ensure you're entering the code exactly as shown
  2. Check that the code hasn't expired (usually 10-30 minutes)
  3. Verify you're on the correct activation website
  4. Generate a new code on your TV if the previous one expired
  5. Check for typos - codes are case-sensitive
  6. Try on a different device (computer, smartphone, tablet)

Apps Won't Install

  1. Check that you have sufficient storage space on your TV
  2. Verify internet connection is stable
  3. Try restarting the app store
  4. Force close the app store and try again
  5. Restart your TV completely
  6. Update TV software to latest version
  7. Try installing a different app to test

Apps Keep Crashing

  1. Update the app to the latest version
  2. Clear app cache (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Clear Cache)
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the app
  4. Check that TV has sufficient free storage space
  5. Restart your TV
  6. Ensure TV software is up to date

Remote Not Working

  1. Replace remote batteries with fresh ones
  2. Check that battery orientation is correct (+/- sides)
  3. Remove any protective plastic covers from remote sensor
  4. Point remote directly at TV (not at an angle)

Picture Quality Issues

  1. Adjust picture settings (brightness, contrast, color)
  2. Check HDMI cable connections are secure
  3. Try a different HDMI port on the TV
  4. Use higher quality HDMI cable (High-Speed HDMI)
  5. Check resolution settings match your input source
  6. Update TV firmware to latest version

No Audio or Sound Issues

  1. Check that volume is not muted (look for mute icon)
  2. Increase volume using remote or TV controls
  3. Check audio output settings (TV speakers vs external)
  4. Verify HDMI audio is enabled (if using HDMI)
  5. Restart the TV and any external audio devices
  6. Check if another app's audio is interfering
